What motion do you use for a kinesthetic prep for whole notes? For half note, I clap/clasp and then bounce my hands to the left. Thanks!
I do something similar, only I clasp my hands together in front of my chest (with my elbows bent) and move them out straight in front of me, straightening my elbows.
