Game
Formation: Students sit in a circle. One student is “It” walks outside of the circle.
- While students sing, “It” walks around while singing Verse 1. On the last word, “It” stops and points to another student. All students sing Verse 2 while the new student stands up and “It” sits down in the empty spot. The new student becomes the new “It” and sings Verse 1 while walking again.

I’m a teaching artist for Ravinias reach teach play program in the chicago public schools. I’m doing a segment on Jazz nursery rhymes and jazz “then and now” showing kids how songs recorded in the 20s/30s are reinterpreted today.
I love the look of your lesson plans for the muffin man and a tisket a tasket Do you have any suggestions for why a wonderful world or red Red Robin or dream a little dream. Also can I just do the monthly membership for one month?? Thanks so much why a great site!!

Yes, you can do a one-month membership. It automatically will bill you for a 2nd month if you don’t cancel at the end of the month, so you just have to remember to cancel 30 days later. 🙂
