Climbing Up the Hillside

Formation: Students stand in a row with one person, who is “It” standing opposite the students facing them.

As song is sung, “It” walks up and down the line. On “Take poor…” “It” grabs the closest student and holds both hands, circling right.

As song is sung again, the new student is now “It” and grabs a new student, who joins the circle, circling right.

Continue until all students have joined the circle.
