Little ball, go east or west, we see it roll along,
You must never stop to rest until we’ve sung our song,
When at last we’ve sung it all and you are hid away,
He/she must find you, little ball, or in the center stay.
Ball Passing Game
Formation: Students sit in a circle on the floor. One student is “It” sitting in the center with eyes closed.
Students pass a ball behind their backs while they sing. At the end of the verse, one player holds onto it, and all other students keep their hands behind their backs. “It” opens eyes and guesses who has the ball while the students sing “Tra la la la…” louder if “It” guesses someone who is close to the right person and softer if the guess is farther away. “It” gets three guesses or stays in the center for another round.
