Rabbit in the hollow sits and sleeps
Little rabbit, have a care,

Hunter in the forest nearer creeps,
Deep within the hollow there,

Game
Formation: Students in a circle with one student standing in the center (“Rabbit”), and another student standing outside the circle (“Hunter”).
Students sing as Rabbit pretends to sleep. On “run run run,” Hunter chases Rabbit. Students in the circle let the Rabbit move around, but they try to stop the Hunter. When Rabbit is caught, a new Rabbit and new Hunter are chosen.
