(English folk song)
Formation: Students stand in a circle with joined hands raised up forming arches. Two students are “pigeons” standing outside the circle.
While students sing, the two “pigeons” fly in and out of the circle under the arches. On the words, “good bye,” the students in the circle suddenly lower their hands. Whichever pigeon is caught in the middle of the circle (either one or both) trades places with one of the students in the circle, and the new student(s) become the new pigeon(s).
