Rock Island Line

The Rock Island Line is named for the railroad line between Chicago and the small town of Rock Island on the Mississippi River.

(Folk song)

Oh the Rock Island Line is a mighty good road,
Oh the Rock Island Line is that road to ride,
Oh the Rock Island Line is a mighty good road
And if you want to ride it, got to ride it like you find it,
Get your ticket at the station on the Rock Island Line.

You are going to miss me when I’m gone! Refrain
