Ooh, Amy, you’ve offered me a challenge: collect as many state songs as I can! And, I, for one, can’t resist a good challenge! 🙂 Now, this is gonna take me awhile, so maybe I’ll post them one region at a time. Sound good? Oh, I’m so excited! (Yes, I’m a music geek!) 🙂
Wow, that bought me back to my days at UofI. The Men’s Glee Club sang a beautiful arrangement of the state song, I believe, every year. Also, one of the men’s a cappella choirs sang a haunting version of the song. There is something so gorgeous about an all men’s choral sound.
