Down in the Valley (Two by Two)

Lyrics

(African American folk song)

Down in the valley two by two,
two by two, two by two,
Down in the valley two by two,
Now rise, Sally rise.

Let me see you make a motion two by two,
two by two, two by two,
Let me see you make a motion two by two,
Now rise, Sally rise.

Now take another partner two by two,
two by two, two by two,
Now take another partner two by two,
Now rise, Sally rise.
