Lyrics
(Folk song)
Witch, witch* fell in a ditch,
Picked up a penny and thought she was rich.
“Are you my children?”
“Yes we’re your children.”
“Are you my children?”
“Yes we’re your children.”
“Are you my children?”
Shouting: “No, you old witch!”
*Or “which witch”
Game
Formation: One student is the “Witch” who stands alone facing the rest of the students.
The witch and students take turns singing. At the end, the students run away while the Witch tries to catch one. Whoever the Witch catches becomes the next Witch.
