Lyrics
(Folk song)
Refrain
Over the river to feed my sheep,
Over the river Charlie,
Over the river to feed my sheep,
Feed buckwheat and barley.
1. Charlie, he’s a lovely lad,
Charlie, he’s a dandy.
Every time he goes to the store,
He gets those girls some candy.
Refrain
2. I want no more of your weevily wheat,
I want no more of your barley,
I want no more of your weevily wheat
To make a cake for Charlie. Refrain
