When the monkey saw the zebra,
He began to switch his tail.
“Well, I never!” was his comment,
“Seen a horse that’s been to jail!”

Well, I never!” was his comment,
“Seen a horse that’s been to jail!”

When the zebra heard the monkey,
He began to switch his tail.
“Well, I never!” he retorted,
“Never spent a day in jail!”
