One Cold and Frosty Morning

(American folk song)

One cold and frosty morning just as the sun did rise
The possum drew himself up in a knot, with his knees up to his chin,
And everything had to clear the track when he stretched out again.

Old Jessie was a gentleman among the olden times.

  1. I like this, especially the 2nd version. Do you get children to sing this then play it on xylophones or do they just sing? (I am in the UK BTW) I suppose you may even use keyboards. What age would you aim this at? Are there any more verses???
