Lyrics
(Folk song)
Hand in hand you see us well.
Creep like a snail inside the shell.
Ever nearer, ever nearer,
Ever closer, ever closer,
Very snug indeed you dwell,
Snail, within your tiny shell.
Hand in hand you see us well.
Creep like a snail out of the shell.
Winding Game
Formation: Students stand in a circle holding hands, except two students do not hold hands with each other. One of those students is the First Leader and the other student is the Second Leader.
As students sing the first verse, the First Leader leads the other students to walk in a smaller and smaller circle in a spiral shape. When students sing the second verse, the Second Leader leads the students in the other direction and unwind the spiral.
