Arch Game

Formation: Students stand in two lines facing their partners with the partners at the end designated as “Royalty” (King and Queen or King and King or Queen and Queen).

Refrain = “Royalty” form an arch and partners hold hands and go under the arch forming a line on the other side. (Optional: “Royalty” can sing the Refrain alone.)
1. “Nod…” = “Royalty” faces other students and nod heads with the students imitating them.
All in a row… = All turn toward the “Royalty” and tiptoe a few steps. “Royalty” peel off and go to the end of the line, and two new students become the next “Royalty.”

Repeat Refrain with new “Royalty,” this time going back under the arch the other direction.
2. “Shake…” = “Royalty” faces other students and shake heads from side to side with the students imitating them.
All in a row… = same as above

Repeat Refrain = same as above

3. “Royalty” turn around in place while students imitate.

4. “Royalty” dance in place while students imitate.

5. “Royalty” march in place while students imitate.

Last Refrain = Students form a circle and circle right.
