Lyrics
(Irish folk song)
We know what our Ava* wants,
We know what our Ava* wants,
We know what our Ava* wants,
Goodie on a saucer.
We know what is good for her,
We know what is good for her,
We know what is good for her,
Goodie on a saucer.

Circle Singing Game
Formation: Students stand in a circle with one student (“It”) standing in the middle.
Students sing the name of “It” as they circle to the right. “It” can dance or walk in a circle in the opposite direction. At the end of measure 8, everyone stops and “It” chooses a student standing close. “It” and the new student dance in the middle of the circle while the other students clap (or walk in a circle in the opposite direction). At the end of the song, “It” joins the other students in the circle, and the new student is the new “It” as the game begins again.
