Circle 2: We want {student name}. Do you hear, my sissie-o? (repeat)
Circle 1: What will you give us? Do you hear, my sissie-o? (repeat)
Circle 2: We’ll give a rotten egg. Do you hear, my sissie-o? (repeat)
Circle 1: That won’t suit us. Do you hear, my sissie-o? (repeat)
Circle 2: We’ll give a golden ring. Do you hear, my sissie-o? (repeat)
Circle 1: That will suit us. Do you hear, my sissie-o? (repeat)
Circle 1: Farewell {student name}. Go and take your golden ring. (repeat)
Game
Students stand holding hands in 2 circles. Circle 1 sings verse 1. Circle 2 responds. For {student name}, Circle 2 names a student in Circle 1. On the last verse, that student joins Circle 2. Continue the game until everyone in Circle 1 has joined Circle 2. (See below for so-mi version.)
