Lyrics
(Folk song)
Who has the penny?
I have the penny.
Who has the key.
I have the key.
Who has the thimble?
I have the thimble.
Now let us see.
Now let us see.
Game
Children close their eyes and hold out their hands. Pass out a penny, key and thimble (or more than one of each) to individual children. All children are told to close their hands and open their eyes. As the class sings each question, the child(ren) with the objects sing back.
This is a good way to teach singing voice and assess children’s pitch matching.
