Lyrics
(Maude Summer Smith, 1922)
Hushed now are voices of field and of stream,
Quiet the voice of the winds loud call,
Inside the firelight throws its soft beam,
Cheerfulness, happiness bringing to all.
Lullaby, lullaby,
Stars are twinkling in the sky,
All the children fall asleep,
Hoping their Santa’s voice to greet.
