Movement
Class stands in two lines facing each other (line 1 and line 2). Students hold hands with students next to them.
Verse 1 – Yo tengo un castillo, Matarile, rile, rile = Line 1 walks or skips forward toward line 2.
Yo tengo un castillo, Matarile, rile, ron chimpón = Line 1 walks or skips backwards to where they started.
Verse 2 – Line 2 does the same thing (forward the first 4 measures, then backward the last 5 measures).
The movement continues throughout the song.
Variations:
Verse 5 – Student whose name is sung can walk / skip forward and back alone.
Verse 7 – Students in the line can act out the job while walking / skipping.
