Game

Formation: Students stand in a circle. One student (“It”) stands in the center.

Phrase 1 – All students sing and move to the steady beat.
Phrase 2 – “It” sings and does a motion. The students in the circle repeat the 2nd phrase and do the same motion.

“It” chooses another student to become the new “It” and play continues.

Variation 1
Formation: All students stand in a circle and one student (“It”) is also standing in the circle, but is facing away from the center of the circle.

Students sing, on the last word, “It” turns around suddenly and freezes in place in a funny pose. The other students must copy the same frozen expression / motion.

Variation 2
Like variation 1, but students can make silly or scary faces, especially fun for Halloween.
