Lyrics - Spanish
(Folk song)
A las estatuas de marfil
Uno, dos y tres así
El que se mueva baila el twist
Con su hermana la lombriz
Que le apesta el calcetín
Yo mejor me quedo así.
English Translation - To the ivory statues
To the ivory statues
One, two and three like this
He who moves dances the twist
With his sister the worm
Whose sock smells,
It’s better if I stay here.
Game
Formation: Students stand in a circle holding hands with one student in the center, who is “It.”
Students walk around the circle. On the last word, students freeze like statues. “It” picks one of the students who is standing still to become the new “It” and game begins again.
