Version 1
Lyrics
(Folk song)
Bluebells, cockle shells,
Eevie eivie over,
Bluebells, cockle shells,
Eevie eivie over.
Movement
In partners, students stand facing each other, holding both hands. They swing arms in time to the music and, on each “eevie eivie over” they duck under one pair of arms. Children may do a complete rotation each time to return to the facing position, or go back to back the first time and return to facing each other the second time.
