  2. I learned this song at school in the mid ’50’s, I think it was in
    Grade 3. Just today I somehow began humming it and
    remembered it was called “Weggis Fair.” Google led me
    to this site. Thanks for helping to expand memories of my
    childhood.

  3. I also sang this song in an elementary school program in the early 1960’s , complete with the yodeling. I remember my parents were shocked! I still can yodel, but, you know, there are not too many occasions when it is deemed appropriate!
