1. Sons of freedom bold and true,
Brave to dear and strong to do,
Staunch to old traditions stand,
Guard the honor of your land,
Fond to friend, fair to foe,
Cold to wrong, to goodness warm,
Forward still in gladness go,
Glorying in stress and storm!

2. Sons of greedom blest are ye,
Nurtured by a wind so free,
Good North wind that keen and pure,
Braces spirits to endure,
Blest are ye who have known,
Fame which still in legend runs,
Yet more blest because ye own,
Hearts of freedom, Sweden’s sons!
