Tahitian Dance

Formation – Students stand in scattered formation in two even sections (Stage Right and Stage Left) facing the audience. All stand still with feet together, knees slightly bent, puili sticks* in hands with arms outstretched to side with slightly bent elbows.

*Puili sticks are traditionally made from bamboo and used in Hawaii, Tahiti, and other Polynesian islands.)
