This is a fun piece of music to listen to and analyze. It’s Movement 3 of Mozart’s Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major, K. 331. “Rondo Alla Turca” means “Turkish Music.”
Two things you could do:
- Listen to the different instrumentations and versions of this famous piece (see below).
- Analyze the form. The form is ABCDECABC+coda with each section (except the coda) repeated twice.
